Vendor Application/Contract

Please read all Information Carefully. Fill out the application completely, incomplete applications will not be accepted. Photos or photocopies of your work, costumes and booth must accompany your application. All photos become Faire property and will not be returned.

Application deadline is August 1, 2006. Applications received after this date will only be accepted pending availability of space. Mail your application early!

Payments must accompany application. Your check will be deposited upon receipt: however this does not imply acceptance. All applications are subject to approval by the Faire committee. Applications received by August1, 2007 will be notified by 20th, 2007. Application received after August 1,2007 will be reviewed and notified within 10 days of receipt. Refunds will be issued within 10 days of the post-marked rejection letter.

Rules and general Information guidelines:

Booths and wares must reflect Middle Ages Theme. All Merchandise must be handmade or period in style or content. We discourage the sale of imported mass-produced items. All vendors and staff must wear 16^th Century style clothing. No visible 21st Century Materials (plastic, aluminum, nylon, et.) are acceptable. All booth measurements must include the amount of space required for guidelines, stakes, overhang and supports.

• No alcoholic beverages may be brought on sight.
• Minors under 21 years of age are prohibited from consuming, handling or purchasing alcoholic beverages
• Remember we are quests of the facility; please keep your area clean and neat.
• No Smoking

Special Notice: While we understand that pop-up style booths are inexpensive and easy to put up and take down, they donπt look≤ period≤. If you do use a pop-up please attempt to disguise it as much as possible. All metal supports, including inside the roof area should not be visible. Wrap supports with fabric or wood. Decorate! This is a very special market faire .Use appropriate looking banners, garlands of flowers, etc. to decorate your booth to suggest a special occasion.

• Management reserves the right to approve all installations, exhibits and merchandise, and further reserves the right to require the removal of any items deemed to be unacceptable, in poor taste, unsuitable or inferior quality.
• Set up is through Gate 2 –Friday 8am-8pm, Saturday 7 am- 9am,Sunday 7am-9am
• Tear Down-Sunday 6pm-10pm, Monday as needed
• You must remain open during the scheduled hours of the FAIRE, RAIN OR SHINE.
• All vendor spaces are only guaranteed front selling space.
• Sale of jewelry will be limited to those vendors who deal exclusively in jewelry. Jewelry includes rings, earrings, ear clips, necklaces, pendants, charms, bracelets and anklets.
• This is a non-smoking Faire. An area out of the patronπs view will be available for vendors and performers to smoke. Please inform your employees. Cell phones, ice chests, and other modern conveniences must be out of patronπs view.
• Sale of knives and blades will be limited to vendors who deal primarily in these items. Display of blades will be subject to Directorπs approval under special conditions.
• All vendors, including food vendors must posses and provide a copy of their current California Sellersπ Permit with this application. Proof of permit must be available on site.
• All vendors are required to carry liability insurance. The Tri County Fair grounds requires special wording so please read the insurance information carefully. Insurance can be purchased through the Fairgrounds for $20.Food Vendors will need to call for pricing. Contact Fair Office (760) 873-3588
• All vendors must collect and report all sales tax to the State Board of equalization.
• Refunds for accepted vendors must be in writing and postmarked by September 1^st. any refunds requested after September 1^st will be denied.
• Camping and Rv Spaces are available at the fairgrounds. Contact Tri county Fairgrounds at (760) 873-3588

Faire will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given under any circumstance, including, but not limited to cancellations or early closure of Faire due to bad weather acts of God or other emergencies.

Liability Waiver:

The Vendor agrees to hold harmless and indemnify The Freedom in Motion TRC Program, its officers, agents, employees and volunteers from and against any and all losses, liability or damages ARISING OUT OF, IN CONSEQUENCES OF, OR RESULTING FROM THE NEGLIGENT ACTS, AND OR OMISSION OF THE Vendor and its officers, agents, volunteers or employees.

The Vendor and its officers, agents, volunteers and employees understand that there are certain risks associated with production if this event and by signing this agreement hereby assumes all risks and waive and release any and all claims for damages or injuries while participating in this event.

By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read and agree to the rules and guidelines set forth on this application.
